Zaynab–unfaithful, confusing wife

Zaynab Bint Jahsh was one of the thirteen wives of Muhammad and was also his cousin. She was first married to the adopted son of Muhammad named Zaid. Zaynab would always complain about the status of her husband to hime because he was a former slave. So one day Zaynab went to Muhammad and told hime that it was he that she desired for her husband. At the time it was considered unlawful. So he refused because he had put them together. She continued to unnecessarily badger her husband who eventually went to Muhammad and asked to divorce Zaynab, and with the revealing of Koran 33:37, which gave permission to marry the wives of adopted sons once they were divorced. Muhammad consented this time. So Zaid divorced her so that Muhammad may marry her. Zaynab showed an example of a woman who caused strife in her household because of her own selfish desires. She could have tried to help Zaid instead of belittling him.
