Hear About Trinities
Question: Did the triad and trinity also originate in Egypt?
Dr. Malachi Z. York-El: That’s another interesting question. You know why? Because what they do is they keep saying trinity, and trinity identifies with three. But, actually there's four characters in this, and that is:
- God the Father
- Goddess the Mother or the “Blessed Mother”
- The Son, God
- and the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit
They left mother out. In the Catholic church they acknowledge the “Blessed Mother.” But a lot of churches that we were born and raised in they knew Mary, but they never gave her credentials. It’s not trinity, it’s quadity. Quadity means four, trinity means three. When they’re talkin’ about trinity. They’re talking about the three motions of the sun, that travels the sky. From the morning to the high noon to the setting. That’s what that trinity came from. But quadity was - God the Father, Goddess the Mother, the Sacred Son/Savior and the Holy Soul or Spirit. That’s:
- Osiris
- Isis
- Horus
- and Khonsu
This principle was recorded in Egypt thousands of years before 2,000 years ago. Before the Israelites got their Torah, we were in Egypt. Understand?
